Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress working on TV and in films is well known for movies like Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her showbiz career early. She played lead roles in TV dramas as young as the age of 16. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. The film received nominations for an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial popularity. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Through the years, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions. These projects included British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. In addition, she was part of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
